About the Program
The Chinese Australian Youth Leadership Program provides an opportunity for up to 12 young members of the Victorian Chinese Community.
With a focus on community leadership, empowerment and advocacy for positive change, the program will focus on young people who demonstrate an interest in community engagement and the potential to emerge as community leaders but are not necessarily currently in leadership positions.
Program Provider - Campus Consultancy by Josh Farr
Josh’s team supports student leaders by providing the highest level of professional development to prepare & empower them for their leadership role, as well as providing extensive support networks for peers to collaborate cross-faculty & cross-university around Australia.
Campus consultancy work with over 4000 student club, societies, residences, mentoring and leadership programs across Australia, student leaders engage hundreds of thousands of university students every year.
Student leaders keep students engaged and enrolled at university, at enormous financial return to universities, and measurable personal and professional return to students and leaders themselves.

Gain a greater awareness of self and undertake self-development to help reach their potential
Increase their understanding of leadership principles and how to apply them
Have a greater understanding of, and confidence in, their role as a leader and dual identity
Build connections and work collaboratively
Be empowered to seek solutions to problems and implement community projects for positive social outcomes
Understand the value of, and commence building, a network of potential and existing community leaders
Program Commitment
By applying to the program, you are committing to:
Attendance at all program days and events (minimum requirement for successful completion is 80% attendance)
Meeting all the program requirements including pre-program readings and preparation, group project work and contributing to program activities
